The Hellmouth is dedicated to serving all of its attendees. The Accessibility Services Department was established to offer a hand to visitors with special needs.
Accessibility Services desk is located at the 1st floor convention entry, inside the Hilton. Please check in at the beginning of your first day, especially if you have a service animal.
Hilton LAX is ADA accessible. For details CLICK HERE to read the For Your Accessibility Needs section of hotel website.
The Complementary Hotel/LAX Shuttle, to and from the Los Angeles Airport, is lift-equipped and runs 24/7.
Multiple elevators run from the self-parking underground up to the Penthouse level.
The Hellmouth follows all current regulations as defined by the ADA.
- Please let us know when you check-in at Accessibility Services that you have an ASL interpreter with you.
- A Rest Room will be set up for the disabled, the elderly, expectant mothers, and parents with small infants.
- If your service animal is not wearing any kind of ID identifying them as a service animal, you may be stopped by security. For your convenience, please stop by Access Services desk for Service Animal Stickers for your The Hellmouth badge.
- All service dog handlers must be in control of their service dogs at all times. Service dogs will be expected to be reasonably quiet and well-groomed, and will be entirely the responsibilities of their respective handlers. Any service dog found to be out of their handler’s control, aggressive, or un-housebroken will be asked to leave the venue. In this case, the service dog handler may be allowed to return without the animal and offered reasonable accommodations.
The Hellmouth is working on an ASL Department. If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer for this department, please direct them to our Volunteer FAQ.
If you are an attendee that requires assistance, The Hellmouth wants to make your experience as fun and as entertaining as possible. There are a few limitations on what can be provided. For example:
Programming rooms fill up quickly, and all seating is on a first-come, first- served basis. Please read your Program Book and plan your day accordingly, keeping in mind the popularity of many events.
Special autograph sessions are always limited, so it is a good idea to make arrangements to have someone within your group save a spot for you in line.
The Accessibility Services team is here to help. By working together, we can make the convention experience enjoyable for everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com.
